CRAWFORD, Rev. William G. 85 of Springfield went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 23, 2009. Born February 27, 1924 in Alderson, WVA, to the late George and Sheila, Sweet William accepted Christ at an early age. Survived by wife Katherine, daughters, Teresa, Carolyn and Lori, numerous grandchildren, great grand children, relatives and a host of friends, he is preceded in death by wife Ruth and eight siblings. His Homegoing Celebration will be held Saturday, June 27 at Jerusalem Second Baptist in Urbana ,Ohio. Visitation at 9 A.M. until time of service which will be 10 a.m. with the Rev. Michael Young officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Dale Cemetery. Arrangement entrusted to Porter-Qualls Funeral Home Springfield Chapel.
