Ray has been a faithful member of Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, where his Pastor is Dr. Junior F. Greenly, for Almost 6 years. He loves the Lord and serves Him faithfully. He is the President of the Zion Hill Evangelistic Witness Ministry; Zion's "Feeding the Hungry" Ministry; and makes sure he is always available when needed by others. Ray Graduated from Trotwood, Madison High School, Class of 2009, in Trotwood, Ohio.
The 44th Moderator, Reverend James E. Pankey and the Scholarship Application Committee is proud to present to the W. U. B. D. A. family, Brother Ray Anthony Slaughter, as a 2009 Scholarship recipient. Ray has been accepted, and the Lord willing, will attend the UNIVERSITY OF TOLEDO this fall. Ray will be pursuing a degree in Pharmacy.
